My first blog!

Who doesn't like a party? But organising and hosting one is another story. I love parties, but didn't realise my passion for them until I took the  lead on an award ceremony for 200 people at work. I will never forget my nerves before the ceremony started and the feeling of pride when it ended; with an appraisal for my work! That's when I realised I loved planning events! So when my son turned 6 I threw him a kids party and that was my turning point, in  make my passion into a business! So I present 'Shimmer party planners!' I hope to take the stress away of planning a party and bring on a big smile to enjoy your event!
